    Project Background

    A client from the United States reached out to us with a demand for three custom Rubber Reducing Flexible Couplings to solve different pipeline connection and drainage cleaning pain points in his daily application scenarios, with clear dimensional and functional requirements for each product.

    Product 1:  Rubber Reducing Flexible Coupling

    Dimension specification: Small end inner diameter 28 mm, large end inner diameter 32 mm

    Application purpose: Replace the crude self-assembled DIY pipeline adapter shown in the customer’s on-site installation photo. The original homemade fitting suffered poor sealing, loose connection and easy leakage during outdoor pipeline operation, which severely affected service stability.

    Product 2 & 3: Funnel-Shaped Reducing Rubber Adapters

    Both share a uniform small end inner diameter of 28 mm, while the large end inner diameters are 102 mm and 127 mm respectively.

    Core application: Professional unclogging tool for multiple household drainage pipelines, including air conditioner drain pipes, bathroom sink drains and kitchen sink drains. The funnel-shaped design perfectly fits large-caliber household drain outlets, enabling efficient pipeline cleaning without complicated auxiliary parts.

    1. 3D Modeling & Solution Validation

    We converted the customer’s verbal dimension requirements and scene usage demands into precise digital 3D models for all three Rubber Reducing Flexible Couplings at the first stage. The 3D renderings fully restored product outline, wall thickness, reducing transition radian and clamping reserved structure, allowing the US client to visually confirm the product appearance and internal structure before mold opening, eliminating dimensional deviation risks in advance.


     



    2. Custom Mold Development & Mass Production

    After the client fully approved the 3D design drawings, we launched exclusive custom mold development tailored to the three distinct tube structures. All finished products adopt high-elasticity wear-resistant rubber material, equipped with stainless steel hose clamps with yellow easy-twist handles at both ends. The adjustable clamps deliver tight, leak-proof locking on hoses and pipes of matching calibers, realizing quick assembly and disassembly for end users.
